Just got my copy and it looks like a gold mine. The book is 600 pages with appendix and notes (small type) and is a MUST for anyone who wants to be knowledgeable about Lincoln, the war, slavery and all the rest of it.<\/p>\n<p>If nothing else, its dedication should cause folks to rush out and purchase it:<\/p>\n<div>To the<\/p>\n<p>1,000,000 European-Americans<br \/>\n300,000 African-Americans<br \/>\n70,000 Native-Americans<br \/>\n60,000 Latin-Americans<br \/>\n50,000 foreigners<br \/>\n12,000 Jewish-Americans<br \/>\n10,000 Asian-Americans<\/p>\n<p>who donned Confederate gray and fought for the South<br \/>\nin the cause of freedom, self-determination, and<br \/>\nthe preservation of the Constitution of the Founding Fathers<\/p><\/div>\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t move you, folks, nothing will.
