The \u201cHomestead\u201d debate goes on. The local VFW has refused permission for the local SCV to participate in their parade. The newspaper report listed below, of course, applauds this \u201cenlightened\u201d response noting that leaders of the VFW who supported SCV participation have been voted out of office.<\/p>\n

Below the address is the comment I made in the newspaper regarding this issue and I strongly suggest that other proud Southrons also respond \u2013 politely, accurately and persuasively. I admit to being harsh in my comments because I see this as just one more step into mindless political correctness, but even the strongest of sentiments can be expressed in a civil and polite manner. Anything else will only be used against us as \u201cproving\u201d that we are ignorant brutes who beat up and lynch blacks at the first opportunity. God, how I hate these ideologues and their worthless hacks!<\/p>\n

One more step into tyranny

In the name of “tolerance” America has become intolerant. In the name of “civility”, the VFW (among other groups) have negated rights proceeding from God and guaranteed in the Constitution. In the name of “enlightenment”, they have embraced ignorance. To secure the approval of a genuinely racist organization (the NAACP), they have rejected as “racist” the heritage of American citizens, a heritage which the NAACP and its ilk hates and works to destroy through mendacious propaganda. And every day, America takes one more step into the darkness of socialist conformity and its citizens lose more and more of our liberties – all in the name of “diversity” and the approved version of “history”. Never mind that most of that version is a lie, as long as no “preferred” group is offended. For those not so “preferred”, they can expect to be consigned to oblivion.<\/p>\n

I guess that the 21st century will see the end of the Founders “Great Experiment”. It will die with a politically correct whimper as the sheeple meekly proceed out of the light of reason and liberty into the darkness of conformity and slavery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
