ust got this in a newsletter today. While I don’t doubt that some of the folks receiving an award actually deserve to be recognized for a job well done I have reservations in thinking this fellow deserves as much as an “attaboy”<\/p>\n
“National Park Service Preservationist of the Year Award: This award, which is presented to outstanding NPS personnel, went to John Latschar, Superintendent of Gettysburg National Military Park. In his tenure, Latschar has overseen a massive landscape restoration project across the battlefield, as well as the planning and construction of the new Visitor Center.”<\/p>\n
Remember the very biased letters Mark and I received from this man after complaining about the one sided views at Gettysburg Battlefield Visitors Center? Yes this is the same man.
